WLDCC 10-Week Marketing Campaign Project

Developed a 10 video marketing campaign for the Writing, Language, Digital, and Composing Center (WLDCC) as part of an academic practice project and student competition. The goal of our campaign was to reposition the WLDCC as a central student hub by highlighting the full range of services the center offers, including writing support, language assistance, digital projects, presentations, and portfolio development.

For this project, I collaborated closely with three other students to build a campaign that felt authentic, approachable, and student-focused. Our strategy centered around a “for students, by students” approach, creating content that spoke directly to the needs, challenges, and experiences of the student body.

This project pushed me outside of my comfort zone, as I typically work behind the camera but stepped in front of it to help bring the campaign concept to life. Through this experience, I strengthened my ability to collaborate creatively, contribute to a team environment, and help develop a strong final product from strategy to execution.

Our campaign received an A+ and placed second in the class competition, demonstrating the strength of our concept, teamwork, and overall campaign execution.
